This policy explains how TECHTENSTEIN SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED (“Mintback”, “we”, or “us”) handles personal data when you use the Mintback website, mobile applications, browser extension, Telegram bot, and related cashback services. You can contact us at support@mintback.app.
1. Data we process
- Account and identity data: name, email address, phone number, authentication identifiers, referral information, and profile details you provide.
- Cashback and shopping data: store and offer clicks, pseudonymous tracking identifiers, order or conversion references, transaction values, cashback status, claims, reversals, and rewards. We do not receive your payment-card number from a merchant purchase.
- Payout data: the bank, UPI, wallet, Paytm, or PayPal details you choose to provide, withdrawal requests, provider references, and payment status. Do not provide a payment method that you are not authorised to use.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, app version, operating system, notification token, security events, diagnostics, and interactions needed to operate and protect the service.
- Support data: messages, missing-cashback evidence, complaints, and other information you send to us.
- Community and assistant data: squad names, member display names, invite codes, rankings, goals, and the shopping questions you choose to send to the deal assistant. Community features may be unavailable in some Mintback versions or markets.
2. Why we use this data
We use personal data to create and secure accounts; generate attributable cashback links; reconcile merchant and affiliate-network reports; show, confirm, reverse, and pay cashback; prevent duplicate credit, fraud, and abuse; send service notifications; answer support requests; comply with accounting and legal obligations; and improve reliability. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
3. Who receives data
We disclose only the data needed for the relevant service to affiliate networks and merchants (normally a pseudonymous click or conversion reference; Mintback's internal numeric account ID may be used as the affiliate sub-ID), payout providers, cloud hosting and database providers, authentication and notification providers such as Google Firebase, communications providers, professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it. Where you use the deal assistant, your question and a limited set of current offer information may be sent to Google Gemini or OpenRouter to generate an answer. Payout providers may include RazorpayX, Cashfree, PayU, PayGlocal, or PayPal where the selected method and country are supported; they receive the necessary destination or contact details, amount, currency, and withdrawal references. When community features are enabled, authenticated members in the same market may see individual display names, confirmed earnings, and ranks, together with squad names, member counts, combined earnings, and ranks. Squad members may also see the display names and progress of people in their squad. These recipients may process data under their own notices. We do not give an extension or Telegram bot your affiliate credentials; tracking links are created by Mintback's backend.
4. Cookies, local storage, and linked services
We use strictly necessary cookies or local storage for sessions, security, country and language preferences, and connected integrations. See our Cookie Policy for details. Merchant, affiliate-network, Google, Apple, Telegram, and payout-provider services have separate privacy practices.
5. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active and for the period needed to resolve cashback, payout, fraud, support, tax, accounting, and legal matters. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed. A deletion request does not require us to erase a limited record that must be retained by law or is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
6. Security and international processing
We use access controls, encrypted network connections, secret-management controls, logging restrictions, backups, and other safeguards appropriate to the data and risk. No internet service can promise absolute security. Service providers may process data outside your state or country; where applicable, we use contractual and legal safeguards for those transfers.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, completion, deletion, or information about how your personal data is handled; withdraw consent; nominate another person to exercise rights where law provides; or raise a grievance. You can also revoke browser-extension and Telegram access without deleting your Mintback account. See our Account & Data Deletion page for deletion instructions. We may verify your identity before acting.
8. Children
Mintback is intended for adults who can enter a contract and receive a payout. Do not use the service if you are under 18. We do not knowingly offer Mintback to children.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, partners, or legal duties change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice for a material change where appropriate. For privacy questions, rights requests, or grievances, contact support@mintback.app or contact TECHTENSTEIN SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED at support@mintback.app.
